...I
have never felt compelled to write to a manufacturer in praise of their product before but
having read other people's success stories in various magazines I thought I would share
mine with you.
I
have owned my horse Kestrel for seven years. He is a 1 5hh TB/Welsh Cob cross. He is a
super all-rounder who has won prizes in just about all disciplines. The only problems I
have ever had with him were poor feet and a tendency to "fizz-up" and be rather
spooky. Keeping weight on him was never a problem - usually quite the opposite! However,
this Autumn he just wasn't looking his best. A friend in the yard who feeds Equilibra
recommended it to me, so I thought I would give it a try.
I have been feeding it
for around two months now and I am totally amazed at the results. His coat is silky soft,
he is maintaining a perfect weight with an excellent topline, his feet look better
already, but the biggest change is in his behaviour. He is much calmer, is less spooky,
but still has plenty of energy. In fact he is behaving so well that I now allow twelve
year old Dawn, (see picture) to ride him. This would have been impossible two months ago!
He gets 500g of
Equilibra, ad-lib hay, chaff, garlic and a horse ball full of pasture nuts to play with.
In the summer he will be at grass during the day, but in the winter he has to be stabled.
I hope to compete at dressage events during the winter and try eventing in the summer. I
have great hopes now!
Thank you for an excellent product.
