  1. A lot better
Now back with it’s rightful owner, who felt compelled to write to us. The first two photos were taken on arrival at the yard.

‘Heidi’ two weeks on from coming home. She’s had 500gms Equilibra, 1kg of Fibregest and 300gms of Alfalfa each day for 5 days plus ad-lib hay, haylage and grazing.

I wormed her after 5 days and then increased her feed by adding 800gms of Tiger Oats on top of her existing feed above. She is now out on reasonable grazing and not having any additional fibre.  The feed is split into two feeds a day.

Compared to her original coming home photos she looks a lot better!

  2. The stamina and energy to go out and win
Indi’ is about the most laid back competition horse there is, but since using GWF Nutrition’s feeds, she has barely been out of the rosettes. She has the stamina and energy to go out and win, without being fizzy.

In 3 British dressage outing, we have qualified for the Petplan finals at the winter Nationals.

  3. The transformation is remarkable
Cherry, a 25-27 year old Connemara horse, came into Wood Green in a terrible state. She was underweight, covered in sores and had basically given up on life. She was not interested in people and had no desire to exercise due to the weak state and poor condition she was in.

However… the Field Staff could see the potential in her and with gentle encouragement and lots of TLC Cherry began to gain weight and found the will to live.

The transformation from the bony, miserable, uninterested horse that came in, to the lively, bright-eyed horse that is full of life and happy in a new home is remarkable. This is the kind of work that our dedicated, devoted and experienced staff does every day. It can only continue with your support and donations. Thank you on behalf of Cherry to all our supporters and GWF Nutrition who kindly supplied us the Equilibra feed.
