I have to tell you… My friend whose mare is on Equilibra, along with my own horses had a foal born in October last year. The first thing that completely shocked us was that she was born SO DARN SHINY! She looked like she was still wet hours and hours later.
I was doing the birth and I kept trying to get her dry without realizing she was already dry, it was too funny really, nobody could believe it :-) And the mare has not been on the balancer for the whole pregnancy; only last few months as well.
My horses have been on it the whole time I think, or pretty close. This time I will take photos so I will have them as well. It’s really unreal; love it.
I was leading my girl the other day for a walk, she is in her last month of pregnancy and so she really has had enough of it. There were some people watching us - horse people - and they could not believe how glossy her coat was. She still has some winter hair and she had not been brushed in ages. We went straight from the field; she looks so great. Even my other mare, a grey one, is very shiny and that is very hard on grey coats.
